non-toxic home non-negotiables

creating and curating not only a non-toxic but also a beautiful home is one of my biggest priorities.

every item i bring into my space is intentional, with the goal of minimizing harmful chemicals, reducing waste, and optimizing health. here are my absolute must-haves:

water filters

clean, high-quality water is a non-negotiable for me. tap water can contain a multitude of chemicals like chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, and other toxins, so i make sure i have some sort of drinking water filtration system in my kitchen. here are some favorites, the first 2 are beautiful, the other less so, but perhaps a more comprehensive filters.

not only is it necessary for me to ensure my drinking and cooking water is filtered, but i have also invested in a shower water filter for my apartments in denmark and mexico. our skin is our largest organ so if the water is not filtered, it will also absorb all the nasty toxins in the shower.

• i love love love my jolie water filter – it is designed to filter shower water for healthier skin and hair. i dont have a filter on the tap in my shower space, so if i am going to run a bath, i will fill the tub from the jolie shower filter.
